Extremely friendly personnel. Room was nice, clean and brand new. I would definetly recommend this hotel.
The concept of Barcelona Go is modern, friendly hotel manager who helped us look for a solution. Hotel on 20 minute walk from the Sagrada Familias.
The website said dogs were allowed, something I specifically checked for during my search on Booked.net. The first receptionist his first words were "the dog is not allowed", whilst I mentioned to him that I added it in my special requests and that Booked.net had the hotel as dog friendly categorized (it was a tiny dog btw), the manager came in between so it ended all good. Then the payment went wrong, the same first guy charged us 20 euros more then it said on the reservation, mentioning it to him provided us a "oh well" reaction.. The isolation of the rooms is not that good, I heard every person entering the hotel, so I'd say an attention point for the hotel staff. Room wasn't completely finished either, it needed repainting and the electricity point was attached to the wall with scotch tape. Last thing was the pillows.. was it due to the noise or due to the bad pillows, but I didn't sleep at all. Barcelona was our stopover for 1 day before returning to Belgium, so the night rest would've been more then welcome (1500 km by car).
the stuff was very nice and friendly easy to the metro
not clean enough everything is from Ikea
Price, friendly staff, cleanning of the room, free drinks in the lobby... i recommend this hotel.
Nothing at all. just if you have a car the parking is in nearby location and it cost arround 25 euros/day
Brand new hotel with kind stuff. Minimal style.
The hotel has not been finished, there were no real services, facilities.
The room was nice and clean. Everything seemed new (ikea style). The hotel is near two tube stations and has free parking facilities nearby. It's 15min walk from the city centre.
Our room was at the ground floor and we could hear a lot of noise from the reception (people talking, doors, telephone, bell...). The reception is closed at night and there isn't even a guard. It is more similar to a hostel than to a hotel.
Hotel staffs were all veru friendly and helpful.
- Nice (and very helpful) staff - location is quite good - room/bathroom were clean and looked redecorated - breakfast was OK
- Very noisy, rooms are facing a quite busy road - although the room has been refurbished, they seem to have forgotten to add a bit of sound insulation, one can clearly hear when the toilet 'upstairs' has just been flushed - although there was a TV, it almost didn't have any channels, just radio
In The center between sagrada famila and the gothic a area; great location and very good value:price ratio.
We put a card outside that our room did not need to be cleaned since we were there only for two nights. At the end of the day, it was cleaned and the door had been left open. Thus our gear was unattended. Fortunately nothing was stolen.
The room was big and the personnel was friendly.
The room had a broken shower and the shower base flooded all the time, plus there was a dust layer on the flat screen. Additionally there is no elevator.
For 90 euros I would have expected something bigger. The room was really tiny, making it difficult to move in the bathroom.
The kindness of the employees.
Before the booking, the fact that it was not clear that the breakfast was not included. The breakfast was really poor. For less money it is possible to find much better nearby.
The location, it`s realy near to the downtown and to the beach!
It`s a little bit noisy
Hotel staff here are very nice. It's in a handy location, and close to the metro stations.
The place looked modern and new, but once I moved in, I couldn't help but feel that this was a cheap-built. Sound proof is poor in the hotel. All the hotel rooms face the street, and subject to traffic noise. I could hear my next door neighbor walking up and down the room constantly at 6am until I was fully awake by the noise and banged on the wall twice, the noise stopped... I stayed in the hotel for three nights, and got sick by the time I checked out. The air-con had some funny smell in it. I left it on for the first night while sleeping, and got a sore throat when I woke up in the morning. On the second night, I realized the smell was too strong to ignore, so I turned off the aircon(heater) while sleeping, then I caught a cold and had to turn it back on at 5am as the room was getting freezing cold. On the third and last night, I informed the hotel staff of the problem with the air-con and they offered to change to another room. Unfortunately, it was the same smell coming out of the air-con a couple of hours after I turned it on, and what's more, there was metal rattling noise coming out of the air- con in the new room. Thankfully this was my last night, and I checked out in the early morning to catch an early flight. But I was already sick and tired from not sleeping well for three nights in a row.
Very nice staff, helpfull and kindly, hotel is very good locatedmclose to metro station-Marina, even walking distance to Sagrada Familia and Barcelona Nord Station.. nice and clean rooms, Breakfest ok, can recomend this hotel
